Jeff Thomas has been in the real estate and development business for the entire 22 years of his professional career. After having spent seven years as an office space leasing and sales broker with Cushman & Wakefield in downtown Boston, Mr. Thomas entered the residential construction and real estate development business. In 1993, Mr. Thomas established Winsor Development Corporation in Natick, Massachusetts. Shortly thereafter, his brother Jack Thomas returned to the Boston area from California where he obtained his Masters Degree in Real Estate Development and joined the firm as co-principal. At Winsor Development Corporation, Jeff was primarily responsible for Construction Management while Jack analyzed deals and identified investment and building opportunities.
In 1997, the partners made a strategic decision to expand their business geographically. Jeff relocated to Charleston, SC and created Winsor South, LLC. In Charleston, Winsor South, LLC and its associated LLCs have completed projects which include:
Radcliffe Place, Charleston, SC75 unit town home and flat condominium project. Purchased land, financed, installed infrastructure, and managed construction of the project.
MarshwalkTown homes, DanielIsland, SCEighteen unit luxury town home development. Purchased land, financed and managed construction of the project.
Marshpointe/Ashley Hall Apartments, Charleston, SCThe purchase, rehabilitation, management, refinancing and sale of an 88 unit apartment complex. Central Commons, Summerville, SCThe purchase and entitlement of land consisting of 96 town home condominium units and subsequent sale of the property to DR Horton.
Bridgetown Road, Goose Creek, SCThe purchase and entitlement of land for a 78 unit condominium Project. Currently holding the land for eventual development or sale. 300 West Coleman Boulevard, Mount Pleasant, SCThe purchase, financing and management of, a 24,000 s.f. office building.
ParkWestPlaza, Mount Pleasant, SC The purchase, financing and management of a 17,000 s.f. retail center accompanied by excess land slated for future development.

Winsor South also has a residential construction division which is involved in the construction of speculative and custom homes in the greater Charleston area. The company has built over sixty high end homes in the area.
Currently, Jeff is actively pursuing financially distressed properties in the region that are candidates for the portfolio of Perseus Real Estate Fund, LLC. In addition to his Massachusetts and South Carolina real estate licenses, Jeff also holds an unlimited commercial contractor license. He is a 1985 Graduate of Middlebury College and currently lives in Mount Pleasant, SC with his wife and five children.
